About
Albane Lester
Hi, I’m Albane!
Founder of 1000‑Voices Inclusion, where EDI sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and lived experience.
Since 2000, clients have called me a facilitator, a strategist, a leader, a mentor, a coach and an educator.
I have worked with organisations in industries as varied as aerospace, education, health and social care, energy, the third sector… And my mandates have included stakeholder engagement, strategy definition, business transformation, operations and project leadership, and of course equity, diversity and inclusion.
I have also had the privilege of providing inclusive and trauma-informed support to wonderful folks with atypical backgrounds and unique blueprints. Their voices inform everything I do in the world of EDI.
My EDI specialisms include: neurodiversity, disability, LGBTQ+ and cultural sensitivity. In these areas, my professional expertise meets my own lived experience as a neurodivergent, bi, immigrant woman living with a hidden disability.

the 1000 voices philosophy
People-led EDI transformation
The 1000 Voices philosophy is about EDI transformation that is informed by lived experience and grounded in evidence.
We partner with organisations ready to move beyond tick-box EDI, to deliver visible change.
Together, we devise solutions:
✦︎ Integrated within their overall strategy – not a bolt-on
✦︎ Underpinned by tangible data insights – not driven by the latest headline
✦︎ Supported by effective processes – not just good words
✦︎ Informed by the people it is meant to serve – not created from theory
We co-create cultures where marginalised voices lead decisions, and inclusion is measurable, accountable and sustainable.
the 1000 voices framework
Making inclusion happen in your organisation
1000 Voices Inclusion offers a clear and effective framework:
✦︎ It’s 50% about methods: the processes, tools, data, and more, that make your EDI efforts measurable, scalable, embedded and slick
✦︎ 50% about mindset: the training, coaching, leadership development and more, that deliver true cultural change and lasting inclusivity
✦︎ and 100% about the voices of your stakeholders: the lived experiences of your teams and clients, and the specific needs of your business, that define your unique approach to diversity and inclusion

Is this the kind of change you want to create in your organisation?
